Marine Light Meter Pressure Testing Service and Annual Maintenance
Annual maintenance and inspection of the marine light meter.
Our Nikonos service department has a service and pressure testing station specifically designed to test these marine meters to the service manual specification. Each marine meter will be subjected to an extensive inspection and pressure testing process, completely disassembled, with all o-ring seals and surfaces cleaned and replaced, and all mechanisms fully inspected, tested, and adjusted. Pressure testing is certified to 40 meters / 130 feet.
Initial Evaluation
Prior to testing we will provide a free evaluation to ensure your Nikonos equipment is capable of passing inspection and pressure testing. If any issues arise that do not fall within the scope of our standard service, the customer will be contacted. If the camera is unrepairable, the camera will be returned to the customer and a full refund will be processed.
Lead Time
After placing the service order you will receive shipping instructions and return address verification. The service lead time is 3-5 days from delivery to our facility.

O-ring Replacement
Even a small leak can be catastrophic, especially involving salt water. Ensure dry, damaged, and compressed o-rings are replaced with new, lubricated o-rings.

Exposure Accuracy
All shutter speeds and light meter readings are calibrated and adjusted for accuracy, to ensure the perfect exposure.

Ready to Submerge!
Whether you're diving 40 meters deep or photographing surfers on the surface, you can rest easy knowing your Nikonos is water tight.
